Depression Counselling

Depression can affect every aspect of your life—your mood, motivation, relationships, and overall sense of hope. You may feel a persistent sadness that doesn’t seem to lift, struggle to find joy in activities you once loved, or experience changes in sleep, appetite, and energy levels. If you’re feeling isolated or overwhelmed by these challenges, therapy can help you regain a sense of balance, purpose, and connection.

A Caring, Individualized Approach

I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist who uses an Eclectic Therapeutic Approach, drawing from modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Attachment-Based methods. My aim is to tailor our work together to your unique needs, helping you address not just the symptoms of depression, but its deeper roots.

What to Expect in Therapy

  • Safe & Supportive Environment: Depression can be accompanied by feelings of shame, guilt, or hopelessness. I provide a nonjudgmental space where you can share openly and feel truly heard.

  • Collaborative Exploration: We’ll look at factors that may be contributing to your depression—such as past traumas, current stressors, or relationship struggles—and create a personalized plan to help you move forward.

  • Practical Tools & Techniques: We’ll explore evidence-based strategies to manage difficult emotions, build healthier thought patterns, and foster a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

  • Ongoing Feedback & Adjustment: Your journey through therapy is dynamic. We’ll regularly check in to ensure our sessions remain aligned with your evolving needs and goals.

Taking the Next Step

Feeling stuck or alone in your depression can be incredibly difficult, but you don’t have to face it on your own. I offer sessions via phone, secure video, or in-person (through my associates and clinical interns).
