OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) Treatment

Living with OCD can be overwhelming. You might feel stuck in a cycle of unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions) that temporarily ease your distress but ultimately keep you feeling trapped. It can be exhausting—and sometimes isolating—to navigate these challenges alone. If this resonates with you, know that effective help and support are within reach.

A Compassionate, Informed Approach

I’m a trauma-informed psychotherapist who understands the complexities of OCD and its impact on your daily life. Drawing from an Eclectic Therapeutic Approach, I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Mindfulness techniques. We will work together to reduce the intensity and frequency of intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, while building healthier coping strategies and resilience.

What to Expect in Therapy

  • Safe & Supportive Environment: I recognize how vulnerable it can feel to share your thoughts and experiences. My aim is to create a nonjudgmental space where you can explore your concerns openly and honestly.

  • Pace That Works for You: We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable. You’ll always have the opportunity to provide feedback, and I encourage regular check-ins to ensure our sessions meet your needs.

  • Practical Tools for Daily Life: OCD can feel particularly relentless. We’ll focus on developing practical, real-world tools—like exposure exercises and mindfulness strategies—to help you manage uncertainty and break the cycle of obsessions and compulsions.

  • Long-Term Change: The real transformation often happens between sessions as you practice and integrate new skills into your daily life. My goal is to equip you with strategies that foster lasting change and improved well-being.

Your First Step

If you’re tired of feeling controlled by persistent worries, rituals, or fears, therapy can be a powerful first step toward reclaiming your life. Whether we connect over phone, secure video, or in-person (via my associates or clinical interns), I’m here to support you with compassion and expertise.
